The Anne Frankplantsoen, located in the bustling center of Eindhoven, is a tribute to Anne Frank, the brave girl from the Second World War.<\/p>\n

This beautiful park, crossed by the picturesque river Dommel, offers an oasis of peace in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Just a 10-minute walk from the city center, opposite the famous Van Abbemuseum<\/strong>, the Anne Frankplantsoen invites you to relax after a day of work or shopping. It borders the Lex and Edo Hornemannplantsoen, named after Jewish victims from the Second World War, and on sunny days countless people gather here to enjoy the sun and have a picnic. <\/p>\n

The heart of the park is formed by the impressive Anne Frank Monument, designed by Theo van Brunschot and unveiled in 1990. This monument, with an image of Anne’s head and the text “Anne Frank Plantsoen in memory of the 304 Jewish men, women and children from Eindhoven who were persecuted in the years 1940 – 1945”, is a reminder of the tragic events of that time. <\/p>\n
