Kazerne, located on the Paradijslaan, is the ultimate destination for design lovers, where wine, dining, art, and technology come together in a unique ambiance.
This versatile complex not only offers a stage for leading designers, but also the opportunity to enjoy delicious lunches, drinks, and exquisite dinners. The second restaurant has recently opened, and guests can even stay overnight in luxury hotel suites. Before the arrival of the Kazerne Foundation, this historic ‘Little Paradise’ had various other functions.
The complex is home in one of the first military police barracks in the Netherlands, built in 1825, and an adjacent industrial shed of the municipal cleaning from 1925. The warehouse has been operational since October 2014, while the monumental barracks and hotel will be open to guests from the spring of 2019.
The redevelopment of this heritage has created a new social and cultural centre, where meeting, hospitality and entrepreneurship come together. It functions as an international platform for the creative industry and contributes to the cultural experience of the city. In addition, it encourages meetings between different networks and contributes to the financing of various programmes.
Visit this hotspot during the Dutch Design Tour Eindhoven. You can do this on a normal bike or on an urban E-Fatbike.
