The Trudo Tower is a true pioneer in the field of social housing worldwide. With 18 floors, the tower houses 125 social rental apartments, each designed as a loft with space of about 50 m2 and a ceiling height of 3.5 meters.
What makes this place truly unique is not only its beautiful architecture, but also the lush garden that surrounds it. Thanks to pre-fab concrete containers, placed without scaffolding, a vertical forest has been created with more than 125 mature trees and more than 5,200 shrubs and plants. And don’t worry, the maintenance of this green oasis is carefully taken care of by sensors and ‘flying gardeners’ who carry out the pruning work while abseiling.
